What will my child learn in Play Group?

In Play Group, your child will begin learning through play-based activities, sensory experiences, music, and movement. They will develop early communication skills, learn to follow simple instructions, engage in creative art, and begin forming friendships. More than academics, we focus on emotional development, language growth, social interaction.

How do you handle separation anxiety and first-day fears?

We understand that this may be your child’s first time away from you. Our staff is trained in gentle separation techniques, and we follow a flexible settling-in routine where parents can stay during initial days if needed. Through affection, consistency, and routine, we help children feel safe and comfortable. Our calm and patient teachers give your child the time and space they need to adjust at their own pace.

What kind of activities will my child do every day?

Each day in Play Group includes a mix of free play, circle time, music sessions, rhymes, storytelling, sensory play, art activities, and outdoor movement. Activities are kept short and engaging to match toddler attention spans. The routine also includes snack time, hygiene practices, and nap/rest time as required. Our goal is to give toddlers the freedom to explore while slowly introducing structure and rhythm to their day.

Is my child too young to join school?

Not at all. Children learn the most in their first five years, and Play Group is not about academics—it's about exposure, confidence, and foundational skills. In a warm, child-friendly preschool like Roja, toddlers learn how to be around peers, build trust with teachers, follow a simple routine, and express themselves better. These are vital life skills that will support all future learning.
