Our UKG program for Senior Explorers is the final and most crucial stage in early childhood education before children enter Grade 1. At Roja International Preschool, this program is designed to strengthen academic foundations, boost independent thinking, and foster leadership qualities in young learners. With a perfect mix of structured academics and creative exploration, children are gently but confidently prepared for formal school life.
With a warm, encouraging environment, small class sizes, and parent collaboration, your child will complete their preschool journey well-prepared, emotionally secure, and excited for the next stage in their learning path
Our group activities, role plays, and problem-solving games
Yes. Our UKG program is designed to prepare children intellectually, emotionally, and behaviorally for primary school. They develop the academic foundation required for reading, writing, and arithmetic while also gaining self-discipline, focus, and classroom etiquette. By the end of the year, most children are confident, independent, and excited to step into the next level of their educational journey.
Even in UKG, we maintain our play-based, experiential approach to learning. Lessons are made interesting through games, hands-on activities, visual aids, group projects, and real-life examples. We understand that children still need movement, fun, and creativity so we blend learning with exploration, play, and imagination to keep them fully engaged.
We follow a system of continuous observation and skill-based assessments rather than stressful exams. Teachers track each child’s academic, behavioral, and emotional growth through regular evaluations, worksheets, class participation, and practical tasks. We also conduct periodic parent-teacher meetings to share detailed feedback and learning milestones.
A UKG day starts with circle time, followed by core learning sessions in literacy and numeracy. The day includes concept-based activities, creative sessions like drawing and music, snack time, outdoor play, and storytime. Children also participate in discussions on weekly themes and life skills. The routine is structured but flexible, giving them a sense of order while keeping the day fun and varied.
